Why VendorLoop instead of spreadsheets and Google Forms?
Spreadsheets track data; VendorLoop runs the workflow. Spreadsheets don't remind you when an application deadline is coming, don't show your profit per event after your Square sales sync, and don't let you apply to an event in a few taps. Google Forms collects answers; VendorLoop turns those answers into a roster, sends confirmations, and keeps every event's booth fee, load-in time, and status in one calendar.
How hard is it to move what I'm already tracking into VendorLoop?
You don't have to migrate everything at once. Add the events you're actively pursuing — type them in, or paste an event's public URL and VendorLoop pulls in the details. Then sync sales from Square, Shopify, or Stripe to fill in the numbers. There's no automated spreadsheet import; you bring in what you need as you go.

Meet the founder
VendorLoop isn't a faceless software company. It was founded by Natalie Popham, who runs small businesses and sets up at vendor events herself.
The idea didn't come from a whiteboard. It came from the real, fragmented work of being a vendor — finding the right events, keeping track of which applications you sent and what came back, staying on top of deadlines and schedules, getting ready for a show, and then figuring out whether it was actually worth it. Usually that meant jumping between a handful of disconnected tools that didn't talk to each other.
Natalie built VendorLoop to pull that work into one place — for independent vendors and makers like her, and for the event hosts they work with. It's still being shaped by the same day-to-day realities that started it: booth fees and deposits matter, people's weekends are on the line, and trust has to be earned, not assumed. That's why verification, the free Scam Scanner, and a simple "we never sell your data" promise are part of the foundation.

Run better events with less effort
Post your event, collect vendor applications through a public link, review and approve vendors, build a booth map, and check vendors in with QR codes — all in one place. How it works: 1) Create your event with dates, location, fees, and custom questions. 2) Vendors apply through your public link; approve, waitlist, or decline. 3) Use QR codes for fast check-in, then send announcements as needed.
